Are You Ready To Die?
22 September 2013
Over the weekend, Islam continues to show it's true colors. Those who say that this is not true Islam are either deceived or deceivers.
First, Muslims attacked a mall in Kenya, allowing all Muslims to leave so they could specifically target non-Muslims. At least 68 are dead, and the toll may rise before it's all finished. For more details, see the collection of articles on the Atlas Shrugs Web site: Kenya's killing fields.
Then followers of the "religion of peace" sent two suicide bombers into a large crowd of Christians outside of a church in Pakistan. At least 75 were killed and more than 100 were injured. For more details, see Muslims Slaughter 75 in Deadly Attack on Historic Church in Pakistan.
Also on the news today were reports of an Islamic attack last week in Nigeria in which at least 142 people were killed by the Muslims belonging to Boko Haram. For more details, see Devout Muslims Gun Down "at least 142" in Nigeria.
All of this begs the question: Are you ready to die, when it's your turn to be slaughtered by Muslims? You may think it's a question of IF, but I think it's more realistic to say it's just a matter of WHEN, because Islam is going to win. As I have written previously, if someone REALLY wants to kill you, they will — there's not a whole lot you can do about it. So get over it, get on with life, and prepare your heart to die!

If you are a follower of Yeshua (Isa, Jesus), then you know that to be absent from the body (i.e. to die) is to be at home with Yeshua in Heaven (see 2 Corinthians 5:1-10). Therefore, we can lay aside all fear of dying, and we can even joyfully embrace death, knowing that we will go straight to Paradise. Yeshua said:
"Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me and for the Gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? (Mark 8:34b-37)
If we follow Yeshua's teaching and lay down our lives in order that we might find them, then we can die calmly, like sheep, just as Yeshua did (see Isaiah 53:7). But if we try to hold onto our lives, then we will die squealing like pigs, and risk losing our eternal souls.

We need to prepare our hearts to die, now, ahead of time, so when the time comes we won't panic and try to hold on to our lives. Perhaps we can even lay down our lives in order to save the life of another — which is the example Yeshua gave us to follow.

I want to die like a sheep and not like a pig. Are you ready to die?
